Physician Contribution to Developing an Online Master’s Degree in Education Program for Health Care Professionals. Author Biographies Kadriye O Lewis, Ed.D is Field Service Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and adjunct faculty at the University of Cincinnati College of Education. She coordinates and supervises the educational activities within Division of General Pediatrics of the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, including program development, curriculum and evaluation. In collaboration with the College of Education at the University of Cincinnati, she and her colleague, Dr. Raymond C. Baker have developed an online Master's Degree in Education for Physicians and Other Healthcare Professionals, which has been offered both nationally and internationally since 2002. Baker, MD, M.Ed is Professor of Pediatrics, University of Cincinnati (UC) College of Medicine and Adjunct Professor, UC College of Education. With over twenty years of experience in medical education, Dr. Baker teaches in the pediatric residency training program and serves as director of the Online Masters Degree in Education for Healthcare Professionals program in which he teaches online courses and serves as adviser/mentor to students in the program.
