Student Evaluation of Teaching (SET) in Web-based Classes: Preliminary Findings and a Call for Further Research

Author Biography

Karen A. Loveland is Assistant Professor of Marketing at Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi. Dr. Loveland received her BBA in Human Resources Management (1986), her MBA in management training and development (1989) and her Ph.D. in Marketing (1995) from New Mexico State University. She began teaching online classes in 1998 and currently teaches Web-based courses in principles of marketing and electronic marketing. Her primary research interests include online teaching and learning, student evaluation of teaching (SET) methods, Internet marketing, and applications of conjoint analysis.
