Author Biographies

David A. Bradbard is Professor of Management Information Systems in the College of Business Administration at Winthrop University. He earned a BS and MS in Mathematics from the University of New Hampshire and an EdD in Mathematics Education from the University of Georgia. His research interests include database management systems, electronic commerce, and the management of information technology. He is an active member in AIS, DSI, and ACM. He has published in the International Journal of Man-Machine Studies, Interfaces, Journal of Small Business Management, Production and Inventory Management, Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education and Communications of the Association for Information Systems. Cara O. Peters is Associate Professor of Marketing at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She earned a BA in Management from Luther College, and an MBA and PhD in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska. Cara has taught Principles of Marketing, Marketing Communication, E-commerce, and Marketing Management at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Dr. Peters' research interests lie in the areas of consumer behavior and e-commerce. Cara has published in numerous conference proceedings and peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Consumer Psychology, the Journal of Retailing, and the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science.
