instruction Theodore “Ted” C. Smith is a higher education consultant in Citrus Heights, California, and a Ph.D. candidate in Education (Specialization: Teaching and Training Online) from Capella University. Ted has a Masters in Environmental Planning from the Consortium of California State Universities and a Bachelors degree in Geology from Humboldt State University. A California-licensed geologist and engineering geologist, his eclectic background includes 29 years of administrative and scientific experience in California State government (mostly with the California Geological Survey), seven years in consulting and information services, one year in Christian higher education teaching and administration, more than 130 published articles, and one monograph.
