Abstract
This predictive-causal study determined the factors affecting students’ Behavioral Intention (BI) and Actual Use (AU) of Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) and Zoom for both synchronous and asynchronous classes in a private higher education institution in the Philippines adopting Technology Acceptance Mode (TAM). After surveying 496 students, it was determined that Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) predicts Perceived Usefulness (PU); PEOU and PU directly affect BI; and BI impacts AU. Nevertheless, it is important to acknowledge that the results of the present investigation may be susceptible to potential criticism. The assessment of students’ engagement and academic achievement can be efficiently accomplished by employing an experimental methodology, whereby the resultant data can serve as a basis for evaluation.
