Abstract
The objective of this study is to examine the extent to which self-efficacy and online self-regulated learning contribute to students’ satisfaction with online learning. This cross-sectional study involved 280 students from a private university. Structural equation modelling (SEM) was employed to analyze the data. This study revealed that satisfaction and online self-regulated learning were positively associated with self-efficacy. Family income was only slightly associated with online self-regulated learning. The student’s background study was slightly associated with satisfaction. Self-efficacy and satisfaction were mediated by online self-regulated learning. The findings of this study contribute to the improvement of the quality of online learning.
