Abstract
A descriptive, nonexperimental, quantitative study was conducted using the Student Perspectives of Caring Online tool to survey undergraduate (n = 22) and graduate (n = 13) students completing one of several online courses. The purpose of this study was to explore university students' perceptions of faculty caring behaviors in online learning environments. Results indicated students highly valued clear communication, prompt feedback, personalized interactions, and empathy from faculty. These findings reinforce the importance of relational components in online education and provide actionable insights for faculty aiming to enhance student engagement and satisfaction in online courses.
